About Pipefix

We are a socially responsible company that takes its contribution to the community and the environment seriously.

Our Vision

Our vision at Pipefix is to provide your business with all the Water & Waste Water services that it needs.

To achieve this we have developed a range of services that serve the water cycle from abstraction and treatment through to distribution, consumption and on through to final treatment and disposal as waste water.

Our services are tailored to your needs and designed to deliver performance and long term reliability without compromising on Quality, Health & Safety or the Environment.

Quality drives everything that we do. Our management processes have been independently accredited to ISO 9001. We strive to be the best at what we do and so it is with confidence that we offer a guarantee on all of our workmanship.

Health & Safety underpins every single project and we are committed to maintaining  our outstanding record. We are registered with CHAS – the Construction Health and Safety scheme – that gives an independent assessment of our compliance. Our staff receive regular training updates and exceed all the standards required in our industry.

History

Pipefix was formed by Wessex Water in 1989 to provide a specialist water pipe repair installation and maintenance service for their domestic customers.

In 1997 the business was sold off, becoming a private limited company and trading independently with the endorsement of Wessex Water. The range of services has been expanded beyond the original remit to include total solutions for water and waste water, from feasibility and design through to installation and servicing.

Pipefix now focus primarily on their commercial customers but maintain an interest in the domestic market due to a demand in this sector for quality services from a recognised service provider.

Our major clients now include The NHS, The MOD, Housing Associations, Councils, Land Agents and various commercial organisations.

Environmental Policy

Pipefix are committed to protecting and enhancing the environment and are currently working towards ISO 14001. We have fitted out our office building to be as energy efficient as possible, installing an energy efficient Daikin Air Source heating and cooling system and a Mitsubishi MVHR system to recover heat from the ventilation system.  We use electricity generated from 100% renewable sources and we undertake to ensure that all our activities are carried out in a considerate and sustainable way. We are aiming to send zero waste to landfill and are making every effort to recycle as much of our waste as possible.

Pipefix proactively support the local community wherever possible. We run an apprenticeship scheme, and have recently sponsored the installation of a defibrillator outside Dorchester Community Church.

The company is run by a committed team with a strong emphasis on best practice and quality. Read more about the management team below.
