All of our works comply with the requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
All pipe work connected to the public water system should comply with the Water Regulations and we undertake inspections to advise upon contraventions of the Regulations and to assist in maintaining a safe drinking water regime.
Where your water system does not meet the Regulations requirements we can install devices to protect the public water supply whilst maintaining water supplies for your use and upgrading your own system.
The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 were developed to prevent;
- wastage
- misuse
- undue consumption
- contamination of the public water supply
- erroneous measurement of water supplied
There is also a move towards conservation of water.
