What is The Water Event?

The Water Event promotes the efficient consumption, management and procurement of water in the lead up to market opening, to non-domestic customers across two days, through industry insight, promoting achievable strategies, case studies and quality networking opportunities.

This year the event was held on the 15th & 16 September at Birmingham’s NEC and ran alongside the RWM and Energy & Renewables exhibitions.

The Pipefix / Water2business Stand

We teamed up with Water2business because we frequently work together with our commercial customers. As the water supplier, Water2business water supplier offer a range of services to assist their customers with understanding and managing their water consumption. When operational input is required – such as making alterations to the water distribution system or tracing and repairing leaks that is where a specialist like Pipefix can step in to assist, giving the customer a seamless service from identification of a solution through to implementation and commissioning.

Over the two day event we received a range of visitors to the stand, including

  • Energy Managers,
  • Energy Consultants
  • Procurement Managers
  • Production and Site Managers

The main topic of conversation was around the deregulation of the water industry in England in 2017. People wanted to know how this would affect their business and what advantages there might be with the increased competition in the market. For a detailed review of this read our article here.
