Water meter flow logging to analyse leakage and wastage
We can measure water usage very accurately over extended periods of time (usually one week) to enable assessment of both leakage and wastage on your system. Our flow logging and report provides you with a picture of system performance together with the flow data. This is an essential management tool as it provides you with a key measure of how much your water leakage and wastage is costing you. This cost is the primary consideration that most businesses would use when determining how much they should invest in water management initiatives.
Most water meters have electronic pulsed output to enable flow-logging to be undertaken. Magnetic flow meters determine water flow by disturbance to their electro-magnetic field. These tend to be employed on large bore pipe work.
Flow loggers can be hard wired to your desk top PC to provide you with constant access to your flow data. In more remote locations meter data transmission via 'phone lines is possible.
