Pipe installation and repairPipefix are fully endorsed by Wessex Water and are accredited to undertake works on any mains water network in the UK. We will liaise with the local Water Company on your behalf whenever this is necessary.

We install mains and service pipe work and are fully accredited to undertake works within the highway. Where highway access is needed we can obtain the necessary Licence from the Highway Authority.

Our WIAPS approved plumbers can also undertake internal plumbing work inside your premises. All new systems are pressure tested, flushed and chlorinated before commissioning and certificates confirming the test results issued.

We supply and install pipes in all of the standard water pipe materials using

  • Open cut trenching
  • Trenchless technology

and a variety of jointing techniques including

  • Electro-fusion welding
  • Butt fusion welding

Most mains and service pipe work is now installed using medium density polyethylene (MDPE) pipes and this, along with its HPPE cousin is jointed using fusion technology which provides an essentially seamless pipe.

Our installations often use trenchless technology, boring the pipe work beneath the ground and minimising disruption at surface level. This can have particular advantages when the ground space is in constant use, roads and car parks for example, or has high amenity value, such as lawns and public spaces.
