Boreholes
Under the Water Act 2003 any borehole or well extracting less than 20 cu metres per day (20,000 litres per day) does not currently require a consent to drill and test pump or to extract water up to that limit. Pipefix have the expertise to manage you through the necessary stages to obtaining a private water supply.
Feasibility surveys
A qualified hydrogeologist visits the site to survey the proposed location of the borehole and provide a specification for the engineer based on estimated depth, the location of the aquifer and the volume required by the customer.
Installation
Pipefix manage the whole process, from drilling the hole to installing the peripheral pumps, pipes, storage tanks, filters and distribution networks.
Maintenance
Boreholes require periodic testing and maintenance to ensure that the water quality remains high. Pipefix can provide this service for new or existing installations.
